UCOllectors are remarkable innovative devices aimed at popularizing the selective collection of Used Cooking Oil (UCO), at the household level. This cutting-edge project by EMKA Oil is dedicated to municipalities and businesses to increase recovery from waste.

Our UCOllector allows you to collect UCO, i.e. used cooking oil left over after frying food or preparing salads, for example. UCO is an oily and sticky waste, which makes it easily deposited on the walls of sewer pipes, very often causing blockages, failure, lowering of water pressure, but also deterioration of drinking water quality for the community. UCO easily settles on water surfaces, thus blocking access to sunlight, but also to oxygen, thus preventing the proper development of aquatic biota, and the same happens with groundwater, where UCO deposited in the soil prevents the free flow of water.

UCOllectors are the main pillar of the National UCO Collection System, which aims to collect and recycle used cooking oil nationwide. As part of the campaign, UCOllector dispenses an empty bottle to the user, who first registers on a special free app, for UCO collection. The full bottle, with the help of the app, the user gives back to UCOllector, and points are credited to his account, which can be exchanged for ecological prizes.

[230
post-26431","cpt_services","type-cpt_services","status-publish","hentry","cpt_services_group-ucollectors
["GET
