Oil out, tree sprout!
“You’ll pass the oil, you’ll have a tree!” is a nationwide environmental action that promotes conscious attitudes, teaches good habits, entertains and rewards! It allows everyone to make a real contribution to environmental protection while earning green rewards.
Every bottle of used cooking oil(UCO) donated is a step toward cleaner groundwater, a functioning sewage system, and a greener neighborhood! The system rewards residents who segregate and donate oil, allowing them to exchange the points they collect for tree seedlings, plant seeds and other environmentally friendly gifts.
It’s a simple way to take care of the environment, water and urban greenery!
How to participate?
Collect points and exchange them for prizes! UCO’s collection incentives also include a reward system. For each bottle donated, users receive points to their account in the app. Once he accumulates enough points, he can exchange them for prizes.
- Sign up for the free Olejomaty app.
- Pick up an empty bottle from the UCOllector - it is made of environmentally friendly material, resistant to the high temperature of oil.
- Collect used oil in your household - the average time to fill a bottle is about 1.5 months.
- Donate a full bottle to the UCOllector - scan the QR code in the app and drop the bottle into the device.
- Get points - you get 100 points for every bottle you donate.
- Redeem points for prizes - get trees, seedlings or seeds!
Prize collection
The finale of the campaign is held once a year, around Earth Day (April 22). Then, in participating municipalities organized in a joint celebration of ecology, users can claim their prizes.
Schedule for prize collection
- Second half of April - each municipality has its own individual date and place for exchanging points for trees.
- A few weeks before the final - users declare how many points they want to exchange for prizes.
- The day of the finale - you come to the designated place and pick up seedlings, seeds or other green prizes!

UCOllectors
UCOllector is a revolutionary system that allows the creation of a network of points with machines at the level of municipalities, cities and other organizational units, to which the local community can donate used cooking oil (UCO). The project brings a significant increase in the level of recycling and recovery from waste at the local government and national level. The system consists of special machines, but also innovative bottles, an interactive mobile application, logistics processes, recycling and reporting processes, as well as extensive educational and promotional activities including EMKA Oil’s flagship project – “Oil you pass, tree you have!”.
